For my high school major work we could choose to do a textile, fashion or costume based piece to create over a year. I chose to create a costume, which is the Coronation gown and cape from the novel The Crown by Kiera Cass.

I learnt lots of new skills creating these pieces as I had never done beading, piping or tucking before. I also had never created a boned strapless ball gown or used velvet.
